COMMUNITY FUN RUN

We had a community fun run with the local football club. This brought the community together and was a much needed activity after the Covid-19 lockdown restrictions where physical activity had declined.

SPORT

Use sports as a tool to teach children valuable life skills such as, diligence, co-operation, goal-setting, and team work.

The target is children below the age of 18. We want a special focus on girls. There is a strong foot print of football for
young and old, who currently cater for boys to man. The Project established netball teams, in our endeavour of inclusion of girls. Tennis and Cricket are the next sporting codes to be established.

GROUP WALKS

A new initiative, Group Walks for the elderly was initiated, this was to help people understand the importance of staying physically healthy at any age. This also contributes to mental health as social connections are established.
