R.E.D. Dedication
The Covid-19 Lockdown effects were dire for the unemployed and homeless, as they could not attend to day jobs and street survival begging, poverty became a reality.
At the beginning of the level-5 Covid-19 lockdown in March, 2020, our team started a feeding program for the homeless in a nearby abandoned school near my home. We have continued to feed the children in the community from our own pockets.
Initially, 80 meals were served every Sunday covering families living in the school but the number has since grown. 
Currently 250-300 meals (70% are for children) every Sunday. 
In 2020, our team organized a beautiful Christmas activity for the children by organizing a party with food, entertainment and games. We would like to continue with this and provide the children with much needed gifts, like books, clothes, and shoes.
